31 Weeks Pregnant
This last week has just flown by and that seems to be the trend now – time is whizzing away and my due date is getting nearer and nearer. And nearer. I’m now 31 weeks pregnant.
Which would be fine, except I have done nothing really to get organised yet so, in the back of my mind, I’m now starting to panic just a little bit.
Hmm, I need to have a think about what I actually need for baby #2. I should write a list. I should look at someone else’s list of what they recommend I need and then add it to MY list! Do you have a list?
So far I have a co-sleeper (affiliate link) for Mini to sleep in next to me and 2 sleep suits. That is all. Oh dear.
Oh well actually no, I do also have a lot of clothes from when Miss M was a baby – most are pink but some are neutral so the baby won’t go bare.
I suppose I need nappies too – aww tiny newborn nappies! What else do I need?? Oh dear, I think I was more organised first time round – I just can’t think straight!
I have my 31 week midwife appointment and whooping cough vaccination next week but otherwise, no other medical apps planned except for the 28 week blood test that I still haven’t had. The midwife was supposed to send me the blood form for it but didn’t, I actually had to chase her for it yesterday which isn’t great as it’s now 3 week’s over due but I’m sure it’s ok. She didn’t seem concerned about it.
I’m feeling massive and very tired most of the day and I can’t imagine getting much bigger but I know I will. It’s crazy how much I know I’m going to expand in the next 9 weeks! That said I only made it to 36 weeks with Miss M so I’ve never known before what it feels to be a full term pregnant woman. I suspect I won’t like it much ha! My biscuit addiction is getting out of hand so I need to try and cut back but otherwise I’ve only put 1lb on this week so still managing my weight well. I have no idea how.
Now I’ve actually written this post I’m worrying more about how unorganised I am, especially if I don’t make it to term again. My goal this week is going to be to write that list of the things I need and start getting them! If you have any tips on that, please comment below.
