    Definitely take time away from social media! Put time aside to look at facebook, instagram, youtube etc but then schedule time without it! You’d be amazed how focused and productive you can be!!

    My best tip for being creative is listening to good music – usually instrumental for me, so I don’t get lyrics jotted down into what I’m doing. And then just go for it!

    Start the day positively. I wake up half an hour before every one else in my house. I have my coffee and quietly catch up on news and friends. This means when ever one else gets up I am fresh and ready for what may come!

    My best tip for being productive is be organised write lists before heading out to the shops with everything that has to be done so you don’t get home and have to go out again cause you forget to buy do something

    I stay productive by keeping lists for EVERYTHING in my Erin Condren Life Planner. I plan, I prep, nothing is left unorganized.. from school lunches to the bathroom vanity.. everything always has a place and that’s what keeps my mind sane and my days productive :)

    I write EVERYTHING down! I currently have a calendar beside me, a note book I carry around and a planner in the kitchen! I also get up and get moving every day – whether it’s a walk or a swim I find it gets me focused

    I try to stay productive by keeping a checklist, usually putting the most dreaded task first and work my way to the easiest last. I try to limit any distractions and reward myself if I complete my entire list. Being productive, especially at my job, as well as motivated and accomplishing tasks on my checklist is a pretty rewarding feeling but I keep the extra incentive to stay focused and keep my productivity in check.😊

    My best tip for being productive?…develope a routine, things you do everyday without fail. Giving the small stuff a place in your daily/weekly routine give you time to really dig into the larger issues. Oh yes, almost forgot…write down everything, even if you dnt thing it’s important.

    My best tip is to do something today that your future self will thank you for. By that I mean things like:
    * laying out your clothes the night before. Takes 5 mins at night, half an hour in the morning.
    * cooking double quantities of your meals and freezing half for a night when you are busy/sick/tired.
    * stocking the nappy/work bag the night before for big days/important meetings.
    * Buying things in 2’s, for example, I buy 2 paper towels at a time. When the first one runs out and I start the second one, I immediately replace them so I never run out. Same principal for 2 water jugs in the fridge-one is always cold.
    * Writing a meal plan each week with a matching grocery list. That way, when you have a busy week, you can use an old one and just check which of the groceries listed you actually need.
    * Having a present wrapping stash and blank cards stash. Bonus points for keeping a small gifts stash.
    * Buying groceries online so you can just resubmit previous week’s orders.
    * Paying a tiny bit off monthly bills like phones each week so you never get a big bill.

    Get up a bit earlier (before the family) and plan your day while you have a morning coffee. Cross off everything that was done yesterday, add in anything extra that needs doing and work out your priorities for today (must do, important, would like to do, can be left till later etc)

    Motivation. I believe in delayed gratification. After I complete a task, I treat myself to something nice. That helps one become more motivated to get things done.

    My best tip to be productive, you may ask?
    Write it down! Yup for every list for every task.

    Why is “write it down” my best tip?
    Let me enumerate the reasons and don’t give give me lip.

    How can you be productive if you forget?
    When you write it down, you won’t, I bet.

    Put lists to paper then you’ll see
    That you can check things off so easily.

    It’ll give you confidence that you can do it
    You’ll do much more and put more umph into it

    Write down your goals, be them many or one
    And you’ll see how far you’ve come

    When you write it down it becomes more “real”
    So put it to paper and commit to doing it, hold yourself accountable and it’ll be for the better, I hope you’ll feel.

    What works for me is having lists – and being organized. I try to get as much ready the night before for the next day, and writing it all down. It means two lists – the must do, then the other list is for things that are less urgent, but don’t want to forget. I love planners, too!

    Only handle things once, whatever you can do immediately do (eg open electricity bill, pay electricty bill and then its done instead of looking at it 10 times before its due date).
    Whatever you can’t do make sure you write it down because its easy to forget everything.
    Always have a reminder for important events/occassions like graduations, formals, birthdays etc

    My best tip is to try to complete tasks as you go along, rather than doing bits and pieces of different ones, so you can tick them off your list and clear your mind somewhat. It’s not always possible though!

    Write a list of what you wish to achieve during the day, and then work with a timer. I find it much easier to get moving if I tell myself I only need to work until the timer goes off. Do this several times a day, and your work is done. But if you’re feeling extra lazy, make sure you set the timer for your breaks too!

    I’m a list-maker “tragic’ and take great pleasure in being able to tick items off my list. This is the only way I have ANY hope of being productive. List-making threatens to take over my life and sleep-time so pen and notebook are positioned on beside table so ideas can be jotted down, not worried that I’ll forget them before morning…. and back to sleep!

    Stay focused,make lists and keep a big calendar with daily tasks. When I’m trying to get stuff done I give my phone to my kids to play with..keeps me from checking notifications and getting distracted! Cause they def don’t tell me when I have a notification!

    Keeping a calendar on my phone with everything I need to do from appointments, to phone calls I need to make, forms I need to fill in, little things I need to do/remember. If I don’t do it on that day I bring it forward until I have done it. I always have my phone on me so I can easily keep track of what I need to do.

    I plan ahead and if there’s something I can do before time I like to get it out of the way. Things like wrapping presents or writing on cards I often do days before the event so it’s not a crazy rush on the way out the door.

    Make a to do list in the order you want to get the items done. Ideally pencil in the times you’re planning on spending on each task. If one finishes early, you can reward yourself with a short break to keep motivation high. And it it’s taking too long, you can walk away without guilt (for that day) because you’re moving on to something else.

    In this day and age of technology, never underestimate the effectiveness of good old pen and paper. You are more likely to remember what you have written down by hand and therefore you are much more efficient and productive!

    I used to have tips and tricks that made me a productivity queen. And then I had 2 more children – 3 kids are sooo much more challenging than 1.
    Now my productivity trick is to have a stash of Playdoh and bubble blowers at all times. Keeping my little darling occupied for 5 minutes allows me time to get something done without them UNDOING something else at the same time.
    Its amazing how much my definition of productivity has changed since having kids.

    Prioritise; Urgent and Important tasks go first, then urgent but not important, then not important but urgent followed by not urgent and not important.

    Also, anything you can achieve today to make tomorrow easier is worthwhile investing time in. ie making kids lunches the night before.

    Turn wooden clothes pegs into fridge magnets to organize and hang papers, to-do notes, photos, and cards. To make them, remove the springs, and lightly sand wood with sandpaper. Coat with acrylic paint, let dry. Reattach springs, and affix a magnet to one side of each pin with multipurpose glue.

    I don’t really have a best tip for being productive…I’m a procrastinator and very easily distracted so really not very good at being productive.

    I do try to be more mindful of my procrastination these days. I keep a brain dump journal and write in it every morning with a few sentences about my current mood and what I wish to accomplish during the day. I then add a short to do checklist of the most important tasks. At the end of the day I revisit the task list and then do a quick write up of how the day went.

    dont go on the internet its so easy to get side tracked have this as a treat when you get all your tasks done

    use a calendar so the whole of the family knows whats happening, also keep a diary in your handbag with the same info on, so you know not to double book yourself, then having to spend time trying to see which one you can change

    Make a to-do list which includes EVERYTHING you need to achieve that day, including small tasks.
    It gives you a sense of achievement when you cross something off your list and the small tasks also take up time. It’s important to consider them too. :)

    Definitely take time away from social media! Put time aside to look at facebook, instagram, youtube etc but then schedule time without it! You’d be amazed how focused and productive you can be!! xx

    -define and clarify your goals
    -break jobs down into actionable chunks
    -set timelines and stay on track
    -set routines and create habits, and most importantly
    -find inspiration!

    Yep, I’m gonna need a planner :)

    Categorise your to-dos – it’s so easy to tick off the simple and easy and ignore the difficult (and often more important!) tasks. I create green (easy), orange (medium) and red (hard) tasks and complete at least 3 green, 2 orange and 1 red each day. My traffic light to dos as I call them work a treat!

    Don’t leave anything you can do straight away. Often it is quicker to do the task than to write it on a list.
