iCandy Peach and Peach Blossom Stroller Review

iCandy Peach Stroller Review

We got the iCandy Peach Stroller as although we only have one baby now, we’re hoping to have another in a couple of years and wanted to have a stroller that would carry both little ones.

For the first 6 months we’ll use the carrycot (bassinet) feature and will then convert to the stroller reclining seat when she’s bigger.  The stroller seat comes with it and we bought the carrycot separately.

A friend had recommended the iCandy to me as it’s modern, lightweight and converts for 2 children and at 3 months, it hasn’t disappointed us so far.

We got it in the colour Black Jack – black and grey.  It’s so compact and light and easy to manoeuvre around and fold down.  The carrycot or stroller seat detaches from the base in 2 clicks, then you just pull up the strap that’s above the basket and the base folds into itself easily.  You can then carry it with the strap over your shoulder and use your free hand to carry baby in the carrycot – simple!  Well it is once you get the hang of it.

Another thing I love about it is that the carrycot and stroller seat can face either way – towards you or the outside world.

When I’m brave enough to have another baby (!!), we’ll just buy the Peach Blossom Converter which means we can travel with both children together as long as they’re no more than about 3 years’ apart.

We got our iCandy for around $1300 (in Australia) which included the base, stroller seat, carrycot, raincovers for both and a free Nappy Bag.  The nappy bag was huge and cumbersome so I didn’t use it.

My advice: It’s wonderful – couldn’t recommend highly enough!

My husband and I decided to buy this the night before we left on a transatlantic trip. We had a simple stroller from Aprica but after struggling to navigate sidewalks, skidding across shiny mall floors and getting caught on gravelly driveways, we decided enough is enough. We needed something that folded compact, was durable and could be pushed with one hand or better yet, one finger. This stroller is it. We have had it for 6 months now and are very happy with it. It is a heavy item but we like that. It handles the uneven terrain on our international travels and folds up in a snap. Given the price, I would not recommend buying this item unless you live in an environment that calls for something this hefty. Other more plastic strollers would not last 1 week where we live. That said, if your budget does allow for this, I highly recommend it.

I completely agree! It’s definitely a little heavier at the base than some others but brilliant for all terrains.
