Maternity Style for Autumn and Winter
Now I’ve moved into the 3rd trimester I’m struggling to get away with squeezing into my pre-pregnancy clothes – don’t get me wrong though, I’m still trying!
It was my Dad’s birthday at the weekend and so it was a nice chance to make a bit more of an effort – you know, washing my hair.
I was very lucky to have the opportunity to choose some maternity clothing from Heavenly Bump and Angel Maternity.
I’ve shopped at Angel Maternity many times when I lived in Australia and they’ve just ‘landed’ in the UK.
I wanted to choose clothes that would extend past pregnancy, into nursing and beyond so I opted for a navy blue floral tunic top, a black floral dress and a grey cardigan.
For the birthday lunch, I wore the tunic, dark blue skinny jeans, brown riding boots and the grey cardigan as I wanted to be warm but be able to take off a layer once we were indoors.
The tunic is lovely and stretchy and it will definitely see me until the end of pregnancy as has loads of room to grow into. I could have possibly bought the next size down – which always makes a girl feel good. It has a tie around the back to bring it in above the bump to an empire look.
The dress was previously worn by Holly Willoughby and I can’t wait to wear it. Well if it’s good enough for Holly…
