Organix Snacks Giveaway for International Carrot Day!

Organix Snacks Giveaway for International Carrot Day!

Saturday 4th April 2015 is International Carrot Day.

I know – a day to celebrate CARROTS!  It wasn’t in my calendar before but it is now :)

Miss M loves carrots and all things orange so we were delighted when Organix sent us some yummy carrot snacks to try.  See below for our Organix snacks giveaway!  This post contains affiliate links.

Organix 08

Organix clearly love carrots too as they have 4 carroty treats in their snack range.  Carrots are packed with nutrients, are an excellent source of vitamins, a rich source of beta carotene and a great source of dietary fibre so I’m happy that my 2 year old loves them.  In fact, carrots were some of her first finger foods when we did baby led weaning.

We love that the Organix carrot snacks all come with their Organix No Junk Promise, a commitment to never adding anything unnecessary – so no added salt or sugar.

If you love carrots too and want to celebrate the wonderful carrot on its special day, why not wear something orange or dress up as one!  Or why not plant some seeds and grow your own, or take a look at the delicious carrot recipes on the Organix website https://www.organix.com/food-planner-recipes/recipes

Some Carrot Fun Facts!

*  Carrots were one of the first vegetables ever grown by man
*  Carrots aren’t always orange, they can be purple, red, white or yellow too!
*  The carrot that Bugs Bunny eats is called the Danvers carrot
*  The carrot is a member of the parsley family
