September Favourites 2016
It’s that time of the month again where I’m sharing with you my the things I’ve been loving lately – so here are my September favourites!
Plus read on to find out why one of my ‘favourites’ from last month is now on my ‘never use’ list.
1. QV Self-Check Breast Cream
This fantastic cream from QV is such an innovative idea and an easy way for all women to look after their breasts, get to know them and conduct regular breast self-checks as part of their usual skincare routine.
I’ve talked more about the QV cream and campaign here but I think it’s a fabulous idea and I’ve been loving using this cream.
2. Cancer Council Kids Sunscreen
On the subject of looking after our skin and protecting my family from Cancer, I love love love this sunscreen from Cancer Council and so I was delighted when I got a brand new handbag sized on in the September BellaBaby Box!
It’s a perfect size for a weekend away or my handbag to always have sunscreen to pop on the kids.
3. My New Car!
As you know, I started driving again recently after a long stretch of not doing and I bought my first car in 14 years! You can read more about it here but here is my little Yaris – called Paris :)
4. Sweet Potato Toast
Yes you read that right! I saw this new food trend online and had to try it as I LOVE sweet potatoes! You just slice it into thin slices and pop in the toaster – easy! If you slice too thick, microwave it for about 30 seconds first.
In August, one of the favourite things I mentioned was Revitalash – an eyelash conditioner I was using to help my lashes grow back after losing them from chemo.
Well I’ve changed my mind and I’ll never use it now – you can find out why here:
