Yazoo Fruit Yogurt Smoothies Review
For the last few weeks we’ve been doing a Yazoo Fruit Yogurt Smoothies Review – Strawberry & Raspberry and Mango & Pineapple flavoured ones.
Mr M and I are big smoothie fans and given I’m pregnant and can’t have too much ‘fun’ with my drinks at the moment, I jumped at the chance to give these a try.
The difference with these smoothies to others is that they blend yogurt, fruit and oats. Yes, oats! Worry not though, they’re blended so well so you’d never know.
I must admit, when I saw that they contained oats, I was a bit put off in thinking they’d be some kind of strange fruity porridgy drink but that wasn’t the case.
Ooh, they’re really yum! Not too sweet but really refreshing and the size of the carton is perfect to go with breakfast, lunch or for a quick ‘snack’ during the day.
I’ve been lagging around mid afternoon recently (who hasn’t?) so I’ve found this a great time for one of them and it gives me a bit of a lift instead of reaching for the biscuits and chocolate.
I prefer the Mango & Pineapple ones. Mr M and Miss M like both – no surprises there :)
They’re diary based with a natural source of important nutrients including vitamin B2, calcium and protein and most importantly, they contain no nasty artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners and the yogurt is fat-free.
