The GB Pockit Stroller – the smallest stroller in the world!

The GB Pockit Stroller

A review of the GB Pockit Stroller.

I’ve recently taken the plunge and bought myself a little car – a Toyota Yaris! I decided on the Yaris because I’d owned one before and I’m confident in it’s safety too.

For a small car, the Yaris is actually really spacious and as well as being ‘my’ car, it will be the one we use as a family on weekends and for trips away.

The boot isn’t huge and I expected that it will be mostly filled with a stroller for my baby boy. That was until we heard about the GB Pockit Stroller!

As the name might suggest, the GB Pockit Stroller is compact. Compared to the umbrella strollers we’ve used in the past, it’s crazily small when folded down.

The GB Pockit Stroller is the 2014 Guinness World Records™ most compact stroller and I can see why!

When it arrived in this box, I first assumed it must be in pieces and my heart sank at the thought of having to build it.

That was until I opened the box and saw that it was assembled, just folded down to a teeny tiny size! It’s 30cm x 18cm x 35cm.

I took it out of the box and stood it up on our dining table and you can see here just how compact it is next to this 2 litre bottle of lemonade.

See, teeny!

It’s very lightweight too (4.3kgs) and when it’s collapsed and folder up, it’s easily carried.

I lifted it on to the floor and followed the instructions to assemble it – which is very simple. In fact it’s almost as easy as folding out the wheels and giving it a bit of a shake! It’s a very similar assembly to most traditional umbrella strollers.

The GB Pockit Stroller has adjustable height handles, adjustable harness, a safety wrist strap and a basket underneath. It has front swivel wheels that can be locked and it’s suitable for babies aged 6 months to 17kgs.

To fold it down, there are 2 options. You can either fold it down fully, to look like it did in the box, or you can choose the quicker option which is ideal if you’re using the stroller regularly. You can see here the difference in the 2 methods and how both are still really compact:

I think the GB Pockit Stroller is genius! When I was looking for a new car, my goal was to find one with a boot big enough for a stroller.

I’m pretty sure I could fit 10 of these strollers in and more!

It’s such a practical option for me because it means I can fit so much more in the car and it won’t take up too much room. It’s also self-standing, as you can see in the pics above.

Despite it’s ability to fold up so neatly, it’s surprisingly very robust and sturdy too.

The stroller is lightweight so very manageable to carry and push my baby around in and we absolutely love it! It’s made my life so much easier when we’re out and about in the new car.

And of course I now have much more room for shopping bags!

Man I want one of these! When my 4yo was little I was in love with the Babyzen Yoyo, but this looks even more impressive! Now that we have another bub and want to start travelling again, I’m on the look out for something compact and this ticks the boxes! Now I just wish Good Baby would send one my way too 😛
