How to plan for your child’s education

“How to plan for your child’s education” is in collaboration with ASG.

At a recent blogging event I attended, I was lucky enough to spend some time with ASG. ASG is dedicated to supporting children’s education and they understand the cost of education is challenging for most parents.

My children are 1 and 3 year’s old and even this early on, I worry about whether we have enough money put by for the expenses we will face when they start school.

I’ve written previously about how much I wish I had saved more money for my future family before I even thought about getting pregnant. If I could go back in time, I would put a little away each month in an account specifically for that purpose.

My recent cancer diagnosis and inability to work much during treatment gave us another wake up call to get our finances in order for the security of our family.

We still have time to get organised and I got so much out of the conversation I had with ASG recently.

They told me about how they are supporting families like mine in planning and investing in our children’s education with a range of education products and resources.

ASG’s new versatile Pathway Education Fund particularly appealed to me. ASG’s education funds are tax effective and secure and are designed to support your children throughout their educational journey.

We can invest from as little as just $2 a day (depending on fund and child’s age) – less than the price of a coffee!

Prospective parents, parents, grandparents and relatives can use the Pathway Education Fund to assist with education expenses during pre-school, primary school, secondary school and a wide range of post-secondary and vocational training courses.

In their 40 year history, more than 520,000 children have been enrolled with ASG and more than $2.3 billion in education benefits and scholarship payments have been returned to members and their children. ASG members also enjoy access to member offers and educational resources designed to help them and their children along their education journey.
