Rimmel The Only One Lipstick Review
Rimmel The Only One Lipstick is their newest range of lipsticks and claim to be the first of its kind and a challenge to lipstick history. So I really wanted to try them out and put them to the test!
The lipsticks promise intense colour and high-impact shades yet being ultra-comfortable and moisturising to wear with a weightless feel.
Here are the colours I’ve been testing from the Rimmel The Only One Lipstick range:
- 600 – Peachy-Beachy
- 110 – Pink a Punch
- 120 – You’re All Mine
- 510 – Best of the Best
- 700 – Naughty Nude
- 200 – It’s a Keeper
Here are swatches of the Rimmel The Only One Lipstick shades on my forearm:
So what do I think?
I’ve never been brave enough to try really bold lipstick shades so it was a real treat to test these out.
Here I am with the shades featured left to right in two rows:
In terms of what suits me, I think Naughty Nude and It’s a Keeper are my favourites – what do you think?
The colours all glided on so easily and there was no back and forth to try and get even coverage – they are so rich and pigmented.
Despite the good coverage of the lipstick, they do feel as moisturising and comfortable as promised though.
I wore the last one, It’s a Keeper, for about 4 hours and the colour lasted very well. After eating my lunch and a few drinks, it did wear off but not altogether – it ended up as a very even, matte ‘lip stain’.
In fact that’s probably the way I will wear the brighter shades, I’ll apply them and then blot them with a tissue into a lip stain so it’s a bit more ‘toned down’.
Which is your favourite?
Do you wear bold lipstick shades?
Disclosure: I was sent these lovely Rimmel The Only One Lipstick shades in exchange for my honest review.
