Vision Direct Sunglasses Review

Vision Direct Sunglasses Review

As you know, we moved back to Australia last year and I still haven’t really gotten used to how much warmer and sunnier it is compared to the UK – I love it!

It’s just so nice to be able to go out without a million layers on and spend more time outdoors.

That said, we’re still very conscious of being safe in the sun so our family never goes out without sunscreen and sunglasses.

So we were so delighted to have the opportunity to review some beautiful new sunglasses for the kids from Vision Direct!

Miss M is 3 years old and Mini is almost 1 but finding sunglasses that fit them well isn’t easy. The ones in kids clothing stores are always One Size and are always far too big for my baby. Plus, they never fit snugly to his head so he whips them off the minute I put them on!

We ordered him these super cute red Julbo Looping sunglasses and, when they arrived, oh my word I’ve never seen such cute sunnies before!

These sunglasses are for babies aged up to 18 months old. They have a Cat. 4 lens with flash coating ensuring optimal protection for babies eyes. They also have a 2 year warranty.

I love that as well as being super protective of my baby’s eyes in the sun, they have a removable strap that wraps around Mini’s head so there’s no way they’re going to fall off!

These glasses are just so lovely and so sweet – they’re much smaller than the standard kids glasses available in kids shops and perfect for my baby.

Here he is modelling them :)

The second pair was a pretty peach pair for Miss M!

I wanted to get her some ‘big girl’ glasses because she’s now 3 (sob sob!). She has a few pairs of sunglasses that are pretty and decorated with flowers and animals but these are really different.

The Sting SS6535 sunglasses are made from hefty injected plastic frames with CR39 coated with a special advanced coating which delivers a polished anti-glare and scratch resistant design. They have a shiny peach frame and blue gradient lenses, also with a 2 year warranty.

I love love love these sunglasses on her – she’s way cooler than me!

I really like how sturdy the frame is because, as most 3 years olds are, Miss is pretty clumsy so these sunglasses need to withhold being thrown around!

She looks so lovely in them.

Both pairs of sunglasses were available with the Fast Shipping option and they arrived in just a few days.

They came complete with these bright bags to protect them while they’re not being worn too. The cases can be hung on the handle of our stroller or kept safe in my handbag.

It took me ages to choose the pairs above because of the vast choice! We love them and the kids are wearing them constantly in the lovely Australian sunshine.

Oh, they are just adorable! My girls love sunglasses but they always end up getting bent, I’m going to have to look into getting some that are a bit more resilient. Oh, and I’m sat here in the rain reading this, glad to hear you’re enjoying the sunshine over there ;)

Thank you! We’ve had the same trouble as well, they’ve lasted 5 minutes. These new ones are much sturdier and Minis are super flexible so I can’t see him managing to break them :) x

Hi Mim, I love these sunglasses and they have more chance of being kept on if they are cool. It’s brilliant that the baby ones are disigned to stay on.
