What to wear if you Work from Home

Are you looking for ideas on what to wear if you work from home?

I think many people have visions of the ‘work from home woman’ lounging on the sofa with a laptop, still wearing her PJs. I’ll admit to occasionally doing that, and nothing wrong with that!

However I’ve worked from home for a number of years now and despite the ‘easy commute’ and comfortable surroundings of working in my own home, I still like to feel put together for the day.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dress to the nines but over the years I’ve found a style that works for me; where I feel good but not too slouchy.

Here are two outfit ideas on what to wear if you work from home:

This outfit works great for working from home but being ready to pop to a meeting if necessary too. It’s laid back but still smart.

Zip Front Top – Katies

Panel Zip Drill Pants – Katies

Drop Stone Studs – Katies

Multi-Ring Collar Necklace – Katies

Nautical Cuff Bracelet – Katies

Converse All Stars – Surf Stitch

For days when you won’t be meeting anyone, this outfit works well. It’s also the kind of thing I wear to collect the kids after daycare or run errands throughout the day.

Cowl Neck Top – Katies

Harem Pants – Katies

Knot Earrings – Katies

Ice Watch – Bijoux

Vans Classics – Platypus Shoes

I pretty much live in jeans, but do think every now and then I should branch out to something a bit smarter. I’m just so comfy in my jeans! x #TheList

But jeans are smart enough I think – black and dark denim especially :) x

I have worked from home for quite a few years and I’ve never been a PJs girl. I just feel like I need to get in the right frame of mind to work and what I wear effects this. Lovely outfits I always wear looks like the first one X #thelist

I love your choices! I’m afraid I’m guilty of leggings and a vest top all year round – I really should make more effort! #thelist

These are great – especially love the first one! I tend to be similar, though I am a SAHM & often in house, I have never really been a pjs all day person – I may dress casually, but still dress. #thelist

Me too – I think my general rule is to be dressed well enough to not be ashamed to answer the door ha ha! x
